Listen to Sunday's Sermon Here

"Praying together is not a luxury, nor is it something just for "spiritual" Christians; it's the very breath of the church… Paul never mentions the 'gift of prayer'.  Why?  Because there is no gift of breathing."  Paul Miller

News & Notes

Men's Breakfast
It's not too late to register for our Spring Men's Breakfast (it's this Saturday, April 13 at 8:00AM)! Eat food. Sing songs. Listen to God's Word. Ask Him to help us respond like Men. It's always great to fellowship together as we seek to grow in our relationships with Jesus and each other. Gentlemen ages 12 and up may register here.

Church Work Day
Our Church Work Day is this Saturday, April 13 at 10:00 AM.  Let's work together to complete some projects at the building to steward this resource that God has provided for us. The work day follows the Men's Breakfast, but women and children are encouraged to participate as well. For more information, please contact Matt Hall and click here for the updated list of workday projects.

Spring Ladies Brunch
Join us for Ladies' Brunch on Saturday, April 27 at 10:00 AM.  We'll share a time of worship, brunch, fellowship, and encouraging teaching. Ladies age 12 and up may register to attend here.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Opportunities to Pray and Give
Please pray for the DR Mission Team as they begin to prepare for their trip to the Dominican Republic this summer. In 2022, the church became an integral part of the DR trip planning by helping cover the majority of the costs for the team.  While the team members did not have that expectation when signing up, we’d love to be able to tell similar testimonies of the generosity of the whole church in sending this team.  If you'd like to help financially support the team, you can contribute by writing "Mission Team" on your check, or by selecting "DR Mission - Support" from the drop-down menu on our Giving site.

PWC Born to Run 5k
Registration is now open for Piedmont Women's Center's 2024 Born to Run 5k and Kids Fun RunOur church is one of the sponsors for this annual fundraiser to support their Pregnancy Medical Clinic on Saturday, May 11 at Bob Jones University.  To find out more about the race, register, volunteer, or help sponsor the event, click here. Graham and Anna Montgomery will be helping coordinate those from our church who would like to run in one of the races or cheer others on together.  Contact them for more info!

Grace Kids Volunteer Lunch
All Grace Kids Volunteers, please save the date for a lunch training session Sunday, May 19 after the morning service. More info to come!

GraceKids Volunteer Need
Our GraceKids team has the privilege of sharing more about Jesus with children while caring for them in a safe environment. We are looking for a few volunteers to serve in this area about once every 5-6 weeks.  For more information, please contact Anna McCarnan.

Read Ahead:

Luke 6
Each week we will have a new verse to meditate on and seek to commit to memory in 2024.  Whether or not you're able to memorize them, please read and meditate on a verse each week - having God's Word in our hearts and minds will have a transformative effect. Click here to view the list of verses and a few different resources to help you get started. This week's verse is:

John answered them all, saying, "I baptize you with water, but He who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire."

Luke 3:16

Let's Get Together...
Here are a few ways:

Care Groups- meet in homes in the area on Wednesday nights. If you aren't already part of a group, now is the perfect time to join!  Contact any of the leaders about linking up with their group or let us know and we will help you find a group.

CrossCurrent Teens - and parents meet at 6:00 PM on the third Sunday of each month (during the school year) at the RGC building.

9-11 Years Class- meet for a monthly class during the service on the second Sunday of each month. Class begins immediately after Worship (before the sermon).

GraceKids -  ages 6-8 years is available during each of our Sunday services. Class begins immediately after Worship (before the sermon).

GraceKids ages sitting up-5 years is available during each of our Sunday services. Drop off begins at 9:50 AM. Please take kids to the bathroom prior to dropping them off.

We are members of one body, and we need each other.
May we not allow ourselves, or anyone else, to feel isolated during this season!
